Shane Alexander Hills, PMP, has the unique ability to provide clarity, order and leadership on complex programs involving information technology and business transformation.
He is one of the few professionals in the marketplace who can deliver a cohesive set of benefits in the form of highly polished program management, intelligently designed AWS cloud architecture, and proactive IT security compliance.
His perspective is informed by 25+ years of consulting and management experience in Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. A partial list of the organizations that he has served includes Xerox, Sprint, Hallmark, Capgemini, Bank of America, Associated Wholesale Grocers, H&R Block, the US Department of Agriculture and the State of Texas.
Shane has always sought to develop his skillset in order to contribute greater value to his employers and clients. In addition to being a Project Management Professional (PMP), he is also a ScrumMaster, an AWS Solutions Architect-Associate and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He is equally adept at leading software development or cloud infrastructure programs, and certified in ITIL Foundations v3.
Shane started his career as a journalist, marketing manager and business analyst. He then progressed into managing IT projects and programs. He has managed programs ranging in size from $1m-$50m, leading teams of 10-100 people. His programs have involved nearly all facets of an organization, including human resources, accounting and finance, inventory management and marketing. He has implemented a diverse range of tools on his programs, including ERP, BI, CRM and data warehousing. As a ScrumMaster, he has also led the development of multiple Java and .NET applications.
In 2009, Shane became a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). This designation is held by fewer than 1,000 consultants, mostly in top-tier consulting firms. The CTP focuses on accounting and finance, management and law for companies in crisis.
In all of these pursuits, however, his strongest asset has always been his ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. He is a strong, organized leader. He simply knows how to galvanize a team and make things happen.
